SEARCA fosters agricultural and rural development through higher education opportunities and capacity building. It offers graduate scholarships and a strong university consortium, recognizes regional experts, and strengthens institutions. Its targeted training programs, vibrant seminar series, and online learning equip professionals with highly relevant knowledge and skills. Education Program
Graduate Scholarship
SEARCA offers a variety of graduate scholarship opportunities to Southeast Asians, including those under joint scholarship projects with its partners. These scholarships support students pursuing master's and doctoral degrees in agriculture and related fields.
Institutional Development
SEARCA provides Institutional Development Assistance to strategically located universities in Southeast Asia to empower them through institutional reviews, curriculum development, and capacity building for staff and faculty.
Training for Development
SEARCA offers a range of short-term training programs and executive programs designed to enhance the skills and knowledge of professionals in agriculture and rural development.
University Consortium
SEARCA is the secretariat of the Southeast Asian University Consortium for Graduate Education in Agriculture and Natural Resources (UC). This strong network of universities in Southeast Asia, Japan, Taiwan, Canada, and Germany supports research and faculty and student mobility, provides academic grants, and pursues collaborative projects that strengthen higher education institutions through innovation.
Regional Professorial Chair Grants
Through its Regional Professorial Chair Grants, SEARCA recognizes and supports outstanding experts in Southeast Asia who have made significant contributions to instruction, research, and extension in agriculture and related fields.
Academic Grants
