LOS BAÑOS, Laguna, Philippines — Strategically located state universities and colleges will be harnessed to help enhance the development of struggling enterprises in their respective regions.

The Cavite State University (CvSU), a multi-campus tertiary institution in Cavite is an example.

All is set for the harnessing of CvSU as among those spearheading an initiative to enhance the development of the coffee industry in the Southern Tagalog Region.

Hand-in-hand with the university in this thrust is the Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture.
